Are you tired of the same ole, artsy fartsy theatre? Good so is Brooklyn Star Entertainment. We’re not here to bash traditional theatre because we all understand everyone can always use a good nap but we want to create daring performance art and defy the artistic norms and boundaries of live productions.
The theatre is an entertainment experience like no other. No matter how high the definition on your flat-screen, it will never display the clarity and detail of a living, breathing actor three feet from you. Brooklyn Star Entertainment is determined to deliver that special energy created the moment an actor loses themselves to their character that can only be felt live. We are committed to providing an experience through our live performances that cannot be captured on film. No camera tricks, canned laughter or CG. This is as real as it can possibly get.
You can call us skilled, qualified or even veterans because Brooklyn Star Entertainment has been doing live performances for over a decade in a variety of venues most notably the Orlando International Fringe Festival. Some of our previous productions include…
“The Girl Next Door” a comedic look at finding love across the hall; written,
directed and produced by Brooklyn Star Entertainment’s very own J. Anthony
D’Aguiar.
“Family Values” a comedic look at the lives of three adult brothers and how they
deal with family, jobs and their dreams; written, directed and produced by J. Anthony D’Aguiar.
“The Business of Souls” is an original story, written and co-scripted by Ayal
Wolf, co-scripted and directed by J. Anthony D’Aguiar.
The Theatre Page will provide regular updates about current productions from photos of the audition process to videos of the cast parties.
If traditional theatre is what you’re interested in then we encourage thee to take thy cockered motley-minded lout to the darkest dominions of nose-upwarded boredom! But if you want to see a kick-ass play that turns your theatre seat into an emotional rollercoaster car then get ready to buy tickets to our next show.
